We had a fun day planned with lots of friends and family in Yucaipa apple picking!
These are however the only apples seen, as when we got there they had stopped the picking because they had run out of apples. It was a bad crop season and they had a 1/3 of the supply of apples that they had last year.
So we were quickly off to take advantage of all the other fun activities they offer.
Ellie and her cousins she loves so much! We were lucky to get to spend the day with Aunt Kim, Emma and Payton along with Grandma and Grandpa Case.
The kids spent some time in the petting zoo.
It was not coordinated that they all dresses alike, however, somehow I thought it was going to be cool and dressed the kids accordingly and it ended up being in the 90's. So that and Logan being a stuborn 2 year old is what led to him with no shirt.
We were also lucky to spend the day with good friends Tricia, Vinnie and her family and Ligia and her family. It was so nice to be with everyone.
They loved throwing hay around.
And we did get to try carmel apples :)
After that the kids wore of their energy by chasing each other around and around and around. Ellie, Logan and Wally had a great time running all around.
Just before we headed home we took the hay ride through the orchards and tried some crab apples. Here is cute little Tabs trying them out.
So no apples but a great time spent with family and friends!
