We were all up and at the zoo really early on Tuesday morning and it felt like a 100 degrees out already! We were all hoping to be able to feed the giraffes but the giraffes didn't want to come over and eat and they only open it for a short time.
We did get to see them up close and lots of other dessert animals. We also got to spend the day with Tricia :) She came up the night before and went to the zoo with us! The kids always love spending time with Tricia!
So glad they had misters, it was so hot!!
They kids loved the big turtle that they got to touch and hear about.
They had great little encounters all over the zoo! And being a weekday it was not busy at all, so the kids got to touch, talk and hear about the animals up close.
The Living Dessert Zoo is also known for the huge train city set up they have. The kids really liked checking that out!
After the zoo we had lunch and ran into the pool as fast as we could to cool off! Then we all had a great time at the Spaghetti Factory for dinner.
